Project Details
As per the Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1985 (No 54 of 1985) and for the fees realisable under Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976.), the ILMs( Inspectors of Legal Metrology) posted at each sub-division collects Fees from the Traders and issue Money Receipts(MR) and Certificate of Verification. The ILMs deposits the fees weekly on every Monday at SBI/RBI and Submits to ACLM (Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology) on monthly basis the weekly Reports . In case of defaulters( traders) in such cases, a court case may occur and the money is then collected ( thro' compounding) from the traders thro' Duplicate Carbon Receipt(DCR) by the ACLM and submitted to Bank.
